Since 1973, Hope House has been a place where some of the most vulnerable youth find stability, safety, and a path toward healing.

Serving children ages 10–17 with complex trauma-many from disrupted adoptions, Hope House provides more than care. It offers a place to belong.

At Hope House, we often say that this work is about more than behavior change.

While structure and accountability are important, what we’re really investing in is something deeper—identity.

Many of the students we serve are still discovering who they are and what their lives can become. That process takes time, trust, and consistent care.

We’re seeing students begin to believe they are capable.

We’re seeing them take ownership of their choices.

We’re seeing growth that goes beyond the surface.

We believe each young person has purpose and value, and it’s a privilege to walk with them as they begin to see that for themselves.

Thank you for being part of that journey.

The Donates Team!

Here at Hope House, there are no unsung heroes. And if you are a fan of our Barn Sale (next one, October 17th, 2026!) then you can join us in saying THANK YOU to our donates team!

This amazing team of volunteers meet on Tues and Thurs. mornings processing community partner donations to meet the needs of Hope House and prep for our Barn Sale twice a year! Their efforts produce over $100k each year, AND there’s always room for one more when it comes to helping us care for these kids!

Would you like to join the Donates Team? Send us a message!

What is Hope?

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

– Jeremiah 29:11

Kym Croft has devoted her life to serving the kids and community of Hope House. She’s held many positions through the years and today, she’s a primary care staff for our Sonrise House.

“I serve because God called me to help care for our brothers and sisters with disabilities.”

One of the key programs for our youth is Independence Readiness! Learning how to “adult” by learning a few key recipes is a very basic and but often overlooked component of supporting our kids as they transition into adults!

Adopt A Product.

This is a really easy, and tangible way to support our mission, that has an tangible impact on our everyday lives here at Hope House!

Whether you are a church group, a business, an organization, or an individual, you can Adopt a Product and help our operations run smoothly so that we can focus on what’s most important, our youth!

Love to Cook? Love to Teach? Have a Favorite Recipe?

We have eager kids who are working on their independence readiness, and learning how to cook one of YOUR favorite recipes is a perfect way to do that.

Reach out to us if you have the time and a desire to teach our young people!

How can you get involved and help us continue to be able to provide a home for kids to heal and grow? The icons below represent ways individuals and community partners engage with us to meet the needs of this ministry.

Ways your time, talent and treasure can support Hope House.

Share our mission with others who believe, like you do, that every child deserves a home. Share our employment opportunities with your network, give as God leads, connect with us about volunteer opportunities, and most importantly, HOLD US UP IN PRAYER.
