Since 1973, Hope House has been a place where some of the most vulnerable youth find stability, safety, and a path toward healing.
Serving children ages 10–17 with complex trauma-many from disrupted adoptions, Hope House provides more than care. It offers a place to belong.
As summer begins to wind down, we’re entering a season of preparation at Hope House. Back-to-school means new routines, renewed structure, and fresh opportunities for our students to engage, grow, and move forward.
This transition is important—and not always easy. For many of our students, stepping into a new school year can bring both hope and uncertainty. That’s why our team is intentionally helping them prepare—academically, emotionally, and practically—so they can start strong and stay steady.
We believe each student has a future worth investing in, and this season plays a key role in shaping that path.

Golfing for Hope.
In case you didn’t know, the Nampa Rotary Club held their annual Golf for Hope charity golf fundraiser this month, and we are ever so grateful for all the wonderful humans that came together to make this possible.
Hours of volunteering, preparing, making phone calls, gathering raffle items, and giving of their time, talent and treasure, just to help us to continue to provide a place for these kids to belong for this season of their life.

| It’s time to give a shout-out to Mr Dinner himself, (aka Paul Eachus)! Did you know? Paul was the first student to go from K-12 and graduate from Hope Christian Academy, and he came back, because he has such a heart for the mission and for these kids. “I serve Hope House because, while every child deserves a home, they deserve the chance at a stable home and the tools to achieve that. Whether here or there, I serve to show people care.”

The 8th Street Studio Recently, we had the opportunity to have our professional headshots taken, and the experience was wonderful. We are looking forward to sharing the final results with you all.
Summer Work Study Program Hope House’s bottom line is the fundamentals, without which we’d cease to function or even exist! We work to foster Independence Readiness, and our on-site Work Study helps each youth reach their full potential. Our Work Study Program exposes our students to the job application process, helps them develop work ethic, and gives them real-life experience with office and clerical work, commercial kitchen operations, landscaping, maintenance, and more, while earning a wage. At the end of the program, the students create a presentation, going over what they have learned. Observing as our students turn into strong, capable young men and women is a great blessing that we are proud to be a part of!
Recipe Call! Love to Cook? Love to Teach? Have a Favorite Recipe? We have eager kids who are working on their independence readiness, and learning how to cook one of YOUR favorite recipes is a perfect way to do that. Reach out to us if you have the time and the taste we are looking for!
