Education

Youth living at Hope House (HH) attend Hope Christian Academy (HCA) a private accredited school located on the HH property. School is held on Monday through Thursday, September through May. Report cards and progress reports are issued quarterly. All students are required to wear a school uniform.

HCA will address any social, emotional, behavioral and learning challenges that may interfere with student academic success. Each student’s academic capabilities and needs will be evaluated and used to establish a Learning Plan and/or a Behavior Plan.

At age 16 or 17, depending on capabilities and academic progress, a determination will be made to decide if the student will continue on a vocational or academic track. Students that need the vocational track will receive classes that are in preparation for job readiness and include life skills training.

Beginning in 2019 Hope Christian Academy paired with IDLA, Idaho Digital Learning Alliance, to provide classes for our 9th-12th grade students.  Through this program we are also able to make dual credit college classes available to students who will be attending an Idaho college after high school graduation.
